When is the best time to book maternity photos?
Usually I ask to book the photos when you will be 28 to 32 week expecting, to have you feeling more comfortable to posing and showing your pretty belly. But it still can be done after this period of time, I have experience photographing expecting mom with 39 weeks.
When can I do newborn photos?
The best time to take newborn photos is around 5 to 12 days old. The photos remember a belly position of the baby, so with this young age the babies are more flexible and sleep better.
When should I book my session?
It’s best to book during your second trimester to guarantee availability around your due date. We’ll schedule a tentative date and adjust once your baby arrives.
How long does a newborn session last?
Newborn sessions usually last 2–3 hours, allowing plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and cuddles. There’s no rush — your baby sets the pace.
Do you provide props and wraps?
Yes! I have a curated collection of wraps, blankets, and delicate accessories designed for newborn photography. You don’t need to bring anything unless there’s something special you’d love to include.
Is it safe for my baby?
Safety is always my top priority. I’m trained in newborn posing and safety, and every pose is done gently, with your baby’s comfort in mind at all times.
How long does it take to get our photos delivered?
I usually ask four weeks to delivery all images, since the process of treating images takes some special attention.
When is the best time to photograph my newborn?
The best time for a newborn session is within the first 7–14 days after birth, when babies are still very sleepy and naturally curl into those sweet poses. However, beautiful lifestyle images can be done anytime in the first few weeks.
Where does the session take place?
You can choose between a studio session with soft wraps and props, or a lifestyle session. For both of them I take at your home, capturing your family’s connection in a stress free session.
What should we wear?
Neutral, soft tones photograph beautifully. Think creams, beige, white, and light pastels. I’ll send a styling guide to help you prepare and coordinate your family’s outfits.
Can siblings and parents join the session?
Absolutely! Family and sibling photos are a beautiful part of your baby’s story — I always include them.
What if my baby doesn’t cooperate?
No worries at all! Babies are unpredictable — I take breaks for feeding and soothing as needed. My sessions are baby-led and completely relaxed.
